There are 4 main islands that make up Japan. Most of the population live o the biggest island Honshu. Still many people live on the other islands. they take ferries from island to island. they are in the technology industry because they don't have good land for farming. Japan's land is very mountainous. 70% of japan's land is covered by mountains.The tallest mountain in Japan is Mt. Fuji. As a result of the scarcity of flat land, land is very crowded.
Explain the role of the United States in the rebuilding of Japan after WW2.
After Japan declared war on the U.S. by bombing Pearl Harbor we bombed the Japanese cities of Nagasaki, and Hiroshima ending WW2. After WW2 Japan was placed under international control of the allies. Political, and economic reforms were introduced, such as the Japanese diet (legislature). With U.S. financial support, along with hard work lead to a period o great economic growth.
